Blood Donation Promotion Activities
ZENOAQ employees actively take part in quarterly blood donations. When Sadakazu Fukui, the founder, assumed the post of Chairman of the Fukushima Prefecture Pharmaceutical Association in 1985, he established "Fukushima Prefecture Blood Donation Promotion Cooperative Association" in partnership with various voluntary organizations. He served as the first chairman and worked hard on public relations to promote blood donation, blood donation networking and the opening of a blood donation room within Koriyama Station. Blood transfusions in cases of emergency rely on the goodwill of many people. We will always cherish the preciousness of life supported by other humans.
Efforts for Universal Design
Universal Design (UD) is based on the barrier-free concept, which means the design of objects, signs, town planning, spaces and events that are easy to use for everyone irrespective of differences in age, sex, physical capabilities and nationality. ZENOAQ will promote UD in consideration of our aging society. We will work toward ensuring product specifications that are easy-to-read, identify, understand, use and dispose of (including dosage forms, traits, weight, raw materials and packages) and publicity materials as well as safety and flexibility when using such products.
